Thank you for
writing to us. If you know the port which those application uses
then you can create a IP Group with port criteria to monitor the
bandwidth usage for the application.
If they uses
dynamic ports then you cannot monitor it with default feature of
netflow analyzer. However, if it is Cisco device and if that device
support NBAR then you can monitor it using NBAR feature in NetFlow Analyzer.
NBAR is Network
Based Application Recognition can recognize and intelligently
identify a wide variety of applications which use dynamic ports and
otherwise would go unnoticed.
